Cuddle & Bounce For BABIES MONDAYS 9-9:45am
For 0 and 1 year olds
Cuddle, bounce, and bop with your baby in Kindermusik's newest curriculum.
Whether your baby is five weeks or five months, this class will be perfect for
you! With age-appropriate activities for newborns, infants and crawlers, this
parent-child music and movement class will help you strengthen those early
parent-child bonds, understand your baby’s development, and heavily focus on
child development and communication with your baby. You and your baby will
enjoy instrument play, dance, exploration time, and together time—and you’ll
get expert advice and parenting resources based on the most recent research in
baby development.
Laugh & Learn PRESCHOOLERS MONDAYS
10-10:45am
For 3 and 4 year olds WEDNESDAY
2:30-3:30 pm
Each week
in class we combine your preschooler’s natural love of music, storytelling, and
imaginative play with age-appropriate activities that introduce early music
concepts and foster independence, social and emotional skills, language growth,
and self-control. We also connect you with other parents who share in the
wonder of parenting a preschooler. Parents join class for the final activities.
The Kindermusik@Home digital home materials bring the music, activities, and
each month’s story everywhere you go. The repetition enhances the learning—and
the fun!
Wiggle & Grow TODDLERS
Home Studio(Grant St. in B-ham): WED. 9AM & 10 AM
Perch & Play(State St. in B-ham): WED. 11:15-11:45am
For 2 and 3 year olds
This music-filled class celebrates the unique joys of your growing child. Each
week your child will love singing, dancing, and playing instruments with you
and her new friends and you’ll love helping her practice a wide variety of
abilities such as gross and fine motor skills, turn-taking, social skills, and
active listening. In class, we’ll also share tips and ideas for using music
throughout the week. Plus, the fun (and learning!) continue with the
Kindermusik@Home digital home materials, including music from class, musical
activities, and each month’s story.

Young Child Semester 1 BIG KIDS THURS. 4:30-5:30pm
For 5 to 7 year olds
Young Child prepares the young child who is eager for first experiences with
musical symbols and instrument discovery but is not yet ready for formal
lessons and traditional music reading with an instrument. In Semester 1 the children build a strong
foundation for learning to play the glockenspiel.
Young Child Semester 3 BIG KIDS THURS. 3:30-4:30PM
For 5 to 7 year olds
In semester 3 the children use prior knowledge learned in semester 1-2 with the
glockenspiel to apply to learning the 2-stringed dulcimer and into the 4th
semester where they learn to play the recorder. New children are welcome to
join in this class, review is built into the curriculum semester 3 is a great
time to join as we begin a new instrument the two-stringed dulcimer!
Kindermusik for the Young Child: Build
a Musical Foundation
Using a small-group approach to music education,
Kindermusik for the Young Child provides a pressure-free class where your child
can develop a strong musical foundation by learning the concepts, language, notation,
and vocabulary of music and its greatest composers. Parents or
caregivers are encouraged to attend the last 10-15 minutes of class.

Enrollment includes:
- Developmentally appropriate
curriculum for children ages 5 to 7 years; caregivers attend the last
10-15 minutes

- Weekly 60-minute class
- One set of Home Materials—Children’s
folder with stickers and Music At Home cards, Family Songbook, instrument
(wind, string, or pre-keyboard instrument depending on the semester), CD
of music from class, canvas bag (during first semester) and games bag.
