I have finished my fall schedule.  There are lots of new options for Toddlers and Babies!  Almost all classes are on-going and will have absolutely delightful, digital home materials!  These home resources will provide entertainment, education and tons of music and stories to stimulate your minds and curiosity!  

Here are the Fall 2013 Kindermusik class offerings:  On-going enrollment September 9- May 7th, 2014.

All classes with on-going enrollment are $50 monthly and includes digital home materials

I said good bye to my "Young Child" graduates!  Most of them spent two years with me learning all about music, notation, instrumentation, singing, listening, folk music, dance and instruments and much more!  I couldn't be happier to have had each and every one of you in my class, I will miss you!  Congratulations to Grady, Gracen, Addie, Nora, Jessa, and Ami.  Way to go kids!

Saying good bye also means that I get to say hello to a whole new group of kids!  I am so looking forward to my new group of BIG KIDS for "Young Child Semester 1 and 2" .  This class will be held on Wednesday's from 2:30-3:30 pm, beginning on September 11th through May 21, 2014.  Please enroll now at kindermusik.com to save your spot in class.

Hello Kindermusik Families: Past, Present, and Future!

Thank you all so very much for being a part of Kindermusik this year.  It was a year full of learning, discovering, bonding, and of course music!  I am looking forward to having new and old friends next Fall for Kindermusik classes.  I am in the process of creating my schedule for the fall.  If you are interested in Kindermusik classes feel free to call or email me for details.  I will be posting them soon.

ABC Music and Me, Thursdays 3-3:30 beginning April 11th

Hello Kindermusik Families and Friends,

I am starting a new class on Thursday's from 3-3:30 pm beginning on April11th.

I am so excited to say that the first month of this class tuition will be donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society!  This class is in celebration and support of my friend, Leah's, effort to raise $3900+ for this incredible organization as well as train to walk/run a marathon in San Diego in June.  I, as I am sure some of you, also have a strong connection to this cause.  As a child, I lost my older sister to Leukemia after a very difficult two-year fight.  That was in 1981.  Back then, most of the children who were diagnosed with Leukemia died like my sister, now this type of Leukemia has a 90% survival rate largely due to programs like the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team in Training! Since the year 2000, I have been doing events with Team in Training and I have seen how Team in Training gives hope and strength to so many people who are fighting for their lives or lives of their loved ones. 

I hope that some of you will be able to join us for this class and this cause.  Here are the details.

ABC Music and Me: Move and Groove
First 4 week curriculum: Jazz Kitchen
Second 4 week curriculum: Dance with Me
Children age 4-6
Tuition/ Home Materials: $100
Thursday 3:00-3:30/ 8 weekly classes
Class Dates: April 11, 18, 25, May 2, 9, 16, 23, 30

Jazz Kitchen (First 4-week curriculum)
Get an extra helping of learning to share-with some jazz music in the mix.  In the Home Kit, read about the little lamb who whips up a batch of Noodles from Scratch.

In class preschoolers will use this story and other activities to learn to observe and accept others' ideas, how to be a leader and a follower, as well as how to watch, listen, and speak to friends and teachers.

The Jazz Kitchen Home Kit includes a magazine-style Family Guide and a Home CD.

Dance with Me (Second 4-week curriculum)
This month, we'll feature the music and dance of "one-two" rhythms, and "one-two-three" rhythms. In class, we'll hear real instruments from the ballet and learn a few dance steps, too. Activities like dance, where your child follows a short sequence of instructions, helps to strengthen memory and his ability to follow directions. At home, play the CD in your Student Kit and let your preschooler show you a new step or two.

The Dance with Me Home Kit includes a pair of lumi sticks instrument, Home CD, Magazine-style Family Guide (includes  class story Dance of Our Own).

ABC Music and Me, CANCELLED for Spring 2013

Hello Everyone,

As I am firming up schedules for the Spring 2013 semester, it looks like we will not have enough kids to run the ABC Music and Me class on Monday mornings.  We will be running the "Family Time" class and do have room for one more family if you want to join us!
