ABC Music and Me, Thursdays 3-3:30 beginning April 11th
Hello Kindermusik Families and Friends,
I am starting a new class on Thursday's from 3-3:30 pm beginning on April11th.
I am so excited to say that the first month of this class tuition will be donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society! This class is in celebration and support of my friend, Leah's, effort to raise $3900+ for this incredible organization as well as train to walk/run a marathon in San Diego in June. I, as I am sure some of you, also have a strong connection to this cause. As a child, I lost my older sister to Leukemia after a very difficult two-year fight. That was in 1981. Back then, most of the children who were diagnosed with Leukemia died like my sister, now this type of Leukemia has a 90% survival rate largely due to programs like the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society's Team in Training! Since the year 2000, I have been doing events with Team in Training and I have seen how Team in Training gives hope and strength to so many people who are fighting for their lives or lives of their loved ones.
I hope that some of you will be able to join us for this class and this cause. Here are the details.

First 4 week curriculum: Jazz Kitchen
Second 4 week curriculum: Dance with Me
Children age 4-6
Tuition/ Home Materials: $100
Thursday 3:00-3:30/ 8 weekly classes
Class Dates: April 11, 18, 25, May 2, 9, 16, 23, 30

Jazz Kitchen (First 4-week curriculum)
Get an extra helping of learning to share-with some jazz music in the mix. In the Home Kit, read about the little lamb who whips up a batch of Noodles from Scratch.
In class preschoolers will use this story and other activities to learn to observe and accept others' ideas, how to be a leader and a follower, as well as how to watch, listen, and speak to friends and teachers.
The Jazz Kitchen Home Kit includes a magazine-style Family Guide and a Home CD.
Dance with Me (Second 4-week curriculum)
This month, we'll feature the music and dance of "one-two" rhythms, and "one-two-three" rhythms. In class, we'll hear real instruments from the ballet and learn a few dance steps, too. Activities like dance, where your child follows a short sequence of instructions, helps to strengthen memory and his ability to follow directions. At home, play the CD in your Student Kit and let your preschooler show you a new step or two.
The Dance with Me Home Kit includes a pair of lumi sticks instrument, Home CD, Magazine-style Family Guide (includes class story Dance of Our Own).

Family Time for all members of your family! We’re a Musical Family!Bringing children of all ages together provides a dynamic and integrated learning experience for everyone. So we took favorite Kindermusik songs and activities like “Shake, Shake the Apple Tree” and “hammocking” and rolled them into a fun, family class where each child is welcomed and valued and family “together time” is celebrated and cherished.

Age Range: newborn through 7 years
Class Structure: 10 classes in a semester
Class Length: 45 minutes each week
Class Size: 3-4 families with at least one caregiver per family

Opening Enrollment for "Our Time" again

I have had such a response for the Our Time class for children 18month -3 years, that I am opening up enrollment again. We will meet the first day of class, and depending on the number of kids who want to enroll, we will consider spliting into two different classes. We will discuss the options on Wednesday. So, if you are interested in Our Time, let me know by email or phone, I will put you on the class list and I will see you in class on Wednesday, September 12, from 10-10:45 am.

"Our Time" is Full

Our Time is now full, if you have contacted me about being in the class, you are on the list! I will be sending out an email in the next week with studio information and class lists. If you would like to be in the Our Time class, please still contact me. As the beginning of the quarter rolls on, we may have a few openings in the class! You may still be able to join!!
